It's also an olderish crowd if that's what you're looking for, but there are definitely younger folk there as well. JRs is quieter than some of the others, and they don't allow dancing to optimize mingling (much to my chagrin one night). Very fun if you have a group (I probably wouldn't suggest going alone unless you're specifically looking to go home with someone), cover's usually $20 on the weekends. Beware though, Fridays are 18+, so don't go home with someone that's barely legal. Town is a large club, so if you're looking for dancing and mostly naked men on stages, then this is the place for you. I think it has a cover on the weekends, usually between $5 and $10
I would not suggest going here Sunday - Tuesday though, since it's pretty dead (although the drinks are super strong on these nights).
Nice place to get a drink, dance a little bit, and it has no cover.Ĭobalt can get a bit clubby on the weekends (especially the third floor), but if you stick to the second floor it has more of a bar scene. On the weekends the roof deck gets crowded and dancey, but the first floor is usually a lot calmer. I would start by checking out something like Nellie's, which is a sports bar, and has a very chill atmosphere.
